The calibration laboratory is based in Doha and provides services in the laboratory or on site throughout Qatar . All activities are controlled by ISO -002:1994 which was awarded in 2002.

Electrical, pressure, temperature, torque and mass calibration is supported by a repair service for each discipline. Site service was demonstrated over the last few years when the company completed the calibration of the majority of the test equipment held by Qatargas and Rasgas in Ras Laffan.

All calibrations take place in a temperature and humidity controlled environment and are fully traceable to UK national standards. Proprietary software is also utilised to enable the handling, tracking and recall of all items received for calibration or repair.

Further, the company offers an equipment management service which includes the site surveys of equipment and database compilation, population & usage. Q-Cal has added a rental capability as an extension of their value added management services with a wide range of instrumentation (including intrinsically safe calibrators) which are available to satisfy the short-term requirements of clients when commissioning or carrying out acceptance testing of instrumentation in process plants.
